The 2365 Level 2 Electrotechnical is an entry-level qualification designed to provide you with the foundation knowledge and basic skills required for electrical installation work in domestic, commercial, and industrial settings. It's the initial step on the path to becoming a fully qualified electrician.

The 2365 Level 2 is ideal for individuals with little to no prior electrical experience who want to start a career as an electrician or have been working in the industry for less than 5 years with no formal qualification.

Officially, there are no formal prerequisites for this course - it is designed for people without qualifications looking to pursue their Electrical career or gain the formal qualifications. Our centre recommends the following:

* A good understanding of Maths and English (some may suggest GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent, or conduct a screening assessment).

* Being at least 18 years old.

* Good general hand skills and hand/eye coordination.

* We require a formal skills scan to ensure you're at the right level.

The 2365 Level 2 Electrotechnical is scheduled over 30 weeks and 1 day a week. We run our courses around a term time schedule in alignment with West Sussex County Council, this enables you to take holidays or if you have children your training will not impact their half terms.

Our friendly sales team will support you in choosing the most suitable date for your training and fulfil your pre-requisite checks. Once your checks are completed the team will process your booking and once payment is received (upon invoice) your booking confirmation will be sent and your customer journey will be underway

It is not a mandatory requirement that you work in the Electrical industry whilst undertaking the 2365 Level 2 course this course is designed to provide you with the underpinning knowledge. Some of our learners continue working their current jobs whilst completing this course and start working within the industry when they complete their level 3.

If you decide you would like to start your Electrical career and undertake the 2365 Level 2 course our friendly team will issue with you with a payment agreement which provides you the option to pay in full or a deposit and direct debit option once you decide on the best payment structure for you our team will send an invoice for the agreed payment which is due on receipt.

For the 2365 Level 2 course there is no current funding available

All training is delivered face-to-face at our centre, ensuring you receive the highest level of support, knowledge delivery and practical skills. Your trainer is on hand to support your career and training in the Electrical industry which is why we only use trainers who have previous on-site experience.

The 2365 Level 2 Electrical Installation training covers a comprehensive range of topics to support your journey in the Electrical industry. You'll have plenty of opportunities for technical discussions and questions throughout the course.

The training will cover an in-depth delivery schedule on health and safety, Principles of science, Electrical Installations, Installations of wiring systems and enclosures, and understanding how to communicate within building services.

The 2365 Level 2 Electrotechnical is a stepping stone to provide you with the basic knowledge and skills and is part of your journey to becoming a qualified Electrician. Once you have completed your 2365 Level 2 Electrotechnical you will be eligible to start your 2365 Level 3.

To enable you obtain your ECS Gold Card you will also be required to undertake the onsite performance portfolio NVQ and your AM2.
